Phivos Christou, Deputy President of World Taekwondo Europe was in Hungary to see, how the future taekwondo stars fight during the Cadet European Championships. He underlined, that how important to organize world events for athletes that age.

“Hungary proved, that the hospitality, what is part of their culture is real, and for me is unbelievable. The organization was fantastic as well.” said right after the European Championships in Budapest Phivos Christou, Deputy President of WTE.

“After meeting some of the leaders in sport of the Hungarian government, it was nice to see the support. They showed strong interest.” – he added.

“This is the real future of the Olympic Games. Without that age we can do nothing. I wish all the best for the Hungarian talents to reach as high level as they can in taekwondo.”
