A Nemzetközi Taekwondo Szövetség (WTF) elnöke, Chungwon Choue tiszteletbeli fekete öv, 10. dant adományozott Ferenc pápának. A sportág legmagasabb, elérhető fokozatát a Szent Péter téren adta át a WTF első embere. Choue elnököt az olasz szövetség elnöke, Angelo Cito kísérte el a szentatyához.
